From our Chaplains
Welcome to Term 4 and the final one for 2022! Our special prayers this term will be for our Year 12s who will be busy with their HSC exams. Monday was World Mental Health Day and, as we think about this, I hope you can find moments to just be and spend time nourishing yourself. This is also the term when the Church/Christian calendar moves to a new year during the season of Advent.
This month, our Jewish community has celebrated the Feast of the Tabernacles following Yom Kippur, while our Hindu community has recently celebrated Dusshera and is preparing for the festival of lights, Diwali. Our prayers and blessings are upon all who celebrate during this holy season.
The movement of seasons and life is constant, and I am mindful that some of our journeys are pain-filled needing attention and healing. As we move together through this term, we pray God’s blessing upon all of us, especially our children as we continue to grow in community, caring and involving ourselves in the business of love.
Blessings and peace.
