A Message from Mr Riley, Head of Upper School
A warm welcome to Term 4! It is hard to believe that the end of the academic year is only a short eight weeks away. I really hope your daughters took the opportunity to have some downtime over the break and that they are rested and recharged; there is a lot to pack in between now and the end of term! As always, please do not hesitate to reach out for support should the need arise at this busy time.
This week, we formally welcome Steph Attley to the team as acting Head of Year 10. Steph has quickly settled in and is looking forward to getting to know our lovely Year 10s this term. With so much to look forward to (including Shormal, Examinations, and the Future You Festival), I am sure she will get to know their unique personalities, collective interests, and wonderful skills.
Year 9 also has an action-packed term, with our next instalment of Residential Program pioneers to leave for Vision Valley next week, and the remainder of the cohort heading off on an exciting Outdoor Education Adventure in Week 6.
We also have an Upper School Disco (for both Year 9 and 10) planned for 11 November and look forward to communicating more about this event once voting for the theme is complete. Our Upper School Leaders have led the charge here and have a lot planned as we take the opportunity to celebrate the end of the year.
Over the break, I enjoyed receiving photos of our amazing student endeavours and encourage you to submit items when you can. Please enjoy a photo of the Drama Tour to London and Paris.
