Pymble Sportswomen’s Dinner
What an honour it was to have Brittany O’Brien, Silver Medallist at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games, Rio Olympian and Pymble alumni as guest speaker at the Pymble Sportswomen’s dinner last week. It was great to hear her story from Pymble Diving to the World Diving stage.
Congratulations to Rylee McKinstry (Year 12) and Captain of Diving 2022 who was awarded Diving Athlete of the Year.
Diving NSW Presentation Awards
Congratulations to Ilaria Crowley (Year 9) who was awarded second place for the NSW 14/15 Age group for her combined results throughout the 2021/2022 NSW Diving season.
On the same night, Mrs Chris Lang was named Volunteer of the Year and awarded life membership to Diving NSW.
Metropolitan Championships
On Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 November, the Metropolitan Championships were held at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre.
A fantastic weekend of diving was had by all with fantastic outcomes no matter what the result.
Congratulations team on another outstanding display of commitment, sportsmanship, and skill.

Méa Shires (Year 8): 1st 3m springboard, 1st 1m springboard, 1st Platform Qualifying for Nationals on all boards and 1st Synchronised Diving 14/0.
Abby Smith (Year 8): 3rd Platform Qualifying for Age Nationals and 5th Synchronised Diving 14/0.
Angela Xenofontos (Year 8): 6th 3m springboard, 6th 1m springboard, and 4th Synchronised Diving 14/0.
Leila Rich (Year 7) – Leila had a challenging weekend having to muster a lot of courage after some painful miscalculations in her warmup dives. Well done, Leila.

School Sport Australia National Championships Brisbane
The SSA National Diving Championships will be held in Brisbane from Saturday 19 November to Friday 25 November 2022.
