IPSHA Gymnastics Competition, Thursday 27 October 2022 – Sydney Gymnastics and Aquatic Centre
On Thursday we attended the IPSHA Gymnastics Carnival where 33 gymnasts took part in levels 1 to 7 at Sydney Gymnastics Centre. This was the first time in two years we have been able to attend due to Covid-10. What a great day of fun and excitement! Congratulations to all students who competed, your performances were excellent!

IPSHA Team of the Week – Basketball Pymble 10 Team (Year 4)
It was an exciting game for our Year 4 division team. We had some newcomers to Basketball that were very nervous before the game but then got out there and really gave it a go. We fought until the last minute to beat the Barker team by 1 point in the final seconds, with the final score 21 to 20 to Pymble. Sophie Tong’s (Year 4) aggressive steals and powerful attack gave the team countless opportunities to score points. Riya Iyer (Year 4) and Chloe Yi (Year 4) left no one unmarked and defended until the last minute. All of the athletes had such great intensity throughout the whole game. Looking forward to a very enjoyable season!
NSWPSSA Cricket
A special mention to Eloise Lawry (Year 5) who was selected in the NSWCIS Cricket team earlier in the year. Unfortunately, the NSWPSSA Cricket tournament scheduled to be in Barooga this week, was cancelled due to the floods. As a result, Eloise trialled for the NSWPSSA team on Monday and Tuesday as a batter and wicket keeper and we are proud to announce that Eloise has been selected in the NSWPSSA Cricket Team. Congratulations Eloise!
