Our MUN captain, Isabella Cameron, led inspiring sessions last term and we look forward to more! Come along – you will learn lots. It is fun and informative. Keep abreast of what is happening in the world around you. Reserve the date. PMUN is held every fortnight in the Jobson Lecture Theatre. We hope to see you this term. Just try it!

Mock Mediation
Congratulations to our Mock Mediation team who completed Round 1 and scored an excellent 79/100 for their first round. Mediation training is held Thursday mornings in the Kate Mason Room 15 from 7.00am to 8.00am. The team members are working on their next scenario. Best of luck for Round 2.
Mock Trial
We won our first Mock Trial for 2022 against the Roseville Mock Trial team. We look forward to the next event against Redfield College, Dural. Good luck to our team who is preparing with coach Annika Shankar. Round 2 will be held at Pymble and the May date is yet to be confirmed.
Bond Mooting
This competition will commence online in May, with finals being held at Bond University. Unfortunately, only one team can enter this year. Please ensure registrations are completed for all Mock Law teams.
Kirby Cup Mooting
Having won the cup twice and having also been runners up, it is with sadness that we have recently heard that Western Sydney University is now limiting entries for the Kirby Cup to Western Sydney Schools. We are hoping to find more Mooting opportunities for our keen and talented mooters.
UN Voice of Youth Nationals
Congratulations to Evelyn Zhu (Year 9) and Chelsea Shi (Year 10). Both girls were selected for the national level of the Model UN Voice of Youth Speaking competition which was held during the break. Their selection was an outstanding achievement. Well done! We are so proud of your dedication, commitment and accomplishments in Language Arts. Both girls came up with several innovative and well researched solutions to global problems. This was Evelyn’s second year at Nationals. She placed third and received an honourable mention. Last year Chelsea represented Pymble at the State level.
Look out for this competition again later in the year. All welcome. Please email Mrs. Hubbard at BHubbard@pymblelc.nsw.edu.au or Angie Wang if interested.
