Staff versus Year 12 Students’ Debate
Thanks to Alyssa Yee, 2022 Debating Captain and our Staff and Student Debaters who participated in the annual, comedic Staff and Student debate at the end of last term. It was an affirmative win and a staff victory! Many spectators enjoyed this comedic event which has become a highlight. This year’s topic was that we should have a timetabled nap time.
Legacy Public Speaking
Congratulations to Jenny Xu, Year 8 who has progressed to the state final of the Legacy Public Speaking Competition. This will be held at the Art Gallery of NSW next week. Best wishes Jenny.

Mock Mediation – Grand Finalists
Our Mediators are in the November Grand Final! Well done girls! Thank you to Mrs Jarvis and Amy Jarvis for stepping in to coach, as our regular 2022 Mediation coach took up an exchange opportunity in Florida, USA. (He is surrounded with devastation, but we are pleased to report he was not directly affected by the extreme weather event.)
