Performing Arts

Regardless of the location, Pymble girls triumph!

Over the break, Performing Arts students have travelled near and far to both experience and perform in a range of inspiring contexts.

In the exciting contents presented below, please read of the extraordinary opportunities for the 30 Drama students who travelled to the United Kingdom and France to explore a range of productions, tours and workshops.

It was wonderful to be part of the audience that supported the Contemporary and Jazz White dance ensembles who competed so successfully in Dance Life at the Big Top, Luna Park.

Closer to home, Mrs Hubbard and Language Arts students are preparing to welcome 26 other independent girls’ schools to Pymble to participate in the many events such as Debating, Public Speaking and Theatre Sports in the epic IGSA Festival of Speech.

Pymble musicians have distinguished themselves not only in the Term 3 Curriculum concert but also as inherent presences in both Year 12 and new leadership assemblies.

A busy but rewarding term ahead with the Festival of Speech and the Year 6 production of Matilda coming soon and recitals in Dance, Drama and Music!  A sincere thank you to those staff and practitioners who have supported the students in these events.
