Performing Arts

As we move towards the end of the year, I wanted to recognise and celebrate the significant achievements wrought by students and their teachers in all of the Performing Arts areas; Music, Dance, Language Arts and Drama.

Whilst the final showcases in these areas were magnificent in the scope of their achievements, it is important to also celebrate the many hours of rehearsals and commitment of time by students and their teachers to bring these performance events to fruition.

As Shakespeare noted through the role of Cressida, “Things won are done. Joy’s soul lies in the doing”.

Students involved in the Performing Arts at Pymble have emerged gallantly and triumphantly from the daunting grip of COVID in 2022.  Next year will bring performance work across the four areas of Music, Drama, Dance and Language Arts that will be profoundly enhanced by what has been confined and now has been liberated.

Wishing you a restful and joyous Christmas and New Year
