Our talented athletes travelled to Adelaide in December for the Australian All Schools Athletics Championships and National Schools Challenge held over four days. Our Pymble athletes produced some amazing results in some very hot conditions:

Sienna Bond                           1st U18 Long Jump and 1st U18 Triple Jump

Olivia Inkster                          1st U18 200m and 2nd U18 100m

Sophia Slater                          2nd U16 2km Steeplechase

Sybella Warton                       3rd U17 Para 100m and 3rd U17 Para 200m

Samara Bond                         7th U16 200m

Matilda Harrison                     1st U14 200m and 4th U14 100m

Sarah Baker                           2nd U16 1500m

Rhedyn Wong                        2nd U18 Javelin

Grace Beck                            1st U15 3km Walk

Georgia Phillips                      3rd U17 2km Steeplechase

Not only did our individual athletes excel, but Pymble performed exceptionally well as a team with our Seniors winning the Senior division, 2nd in the Intermediate division and 5th for our B team in the Intermediate division. Congratulations to our athletes on their superb performances. Pymble are now eligible to represent Australia at the World Schools Athletics Championships in Turkey in June. We will select six athletes to travel to Trabzon in Turkey to represent our school and Australia from 19 to 25 June, 2023.
