Welcome, we are back to another busy year in Language Arts!

Debating

The standard of Debating auditions has been extremely high this year and the number of girls auditioning is unprecedented. Please note that all catch up and call back auditions must be completed this week.

The FED and ISDA seasons commence on 17 Feb and CCSA will be releasing teams and draws. Please get registrations in promptly once notified.

Pymble will host Scots for ISDA Round 1. Debates will be at Pymble. Newington will host FED Round 1. Girls will be escorted on the train. It is then an eight-minute walk to the college. CCSA will send further details.

Archdale

Archdale debating R1 commences on Tuesday 16 May.

IDC Debating

This runs in Term 4 and is open to ISDA, Archdale and FED finalists.

Social Debating

Arrangements are still being finalised and CCSA will be in touch regarding details.

Public Speaking Auditions – Junior and Senior 7 to 12

Rostrum, Legacy (Junior) and PESA (Senior) Competition auditions will run on Wednesdays after school from 22 February. Girls must register interest by emailing Mrs Hubbard BHubbard@pymblelc.nsw.edu.au.Topics can be found on the Portal or on the Rostrum NSW website. The Portal will also provide further information and Mrs Hubbard or Joy Ye, our Public Speaking captain can outline the procedure.

UN Voice of Youth Public Speaking

Congratulations to Alice Mao, Jenny Xu and Amy Zhang Who attended the State Finals at the end of last year. Amy will now compete in the Nationals in April. Congratulations and best wishes.
